Help your child move from “Can I?” to “i-Can!”
Details: From Can I? to i-Can!

Do you hear your child say “This is too hard!” or “I can’t do this?”

Is your child sometimes afraid to even try something new because they fear failure?

The key question is “Why do some children thrive in the face of challenge while others give up?”

In our i-Can! Parenting workshop, Camp Imagineerz Founder Vaibhavi will explore this question from a psychological and neuroscience perspective. You will hear what Stanford Professor Carol Dweck’s research says about this and what you can do as a parent to help your child develop creative problem solving, confidence and perseverance.

Come join us to learn tools, language and frameworks you can apply at home to help your child move from “Can I?” to “i-Can!”

by: Vaibhavi Gala

Speaker Details: Vaibhavi Gala is the Founder and CEO of Imagineerz Learning (www.imagineerz-learning.com) – an organization that develops educational programs to help children develop creativity, confidence, and perseverance. Imagineerz is the start of a dream for Vaibhavi – one that has fueled her work and academic pursuits. While earning her Masters in Education from Stanford, she worked as a Research Assistant with the Stanford Center for Innovations in Learning. She then led corporate learning strategy and curriculum design at Saba Software for 11 years. In 2010, she conceived of an innovative after-school program PACT PALS for her children’s school (Stevenson PACT) and led the team that implemented it.

Her most rewarding learning has come from bringing up her two children. As a mother, it never ceases to amaze her how children think and learn–and what wonders can be achieved in the right environment. To that end, she founded Imagineerz Learning in 2011 and has been enjoying leading it and seeing thousands of children benefit from the programs the company has developed.
